2010 EVENTS: coming in January! GAMES DAYS: Our final Games Day is scheduled for Saturday,October 17th and our theme is, of course, Halloween! A Costume Class is first, so dress up yourself & your horse!	WestPlay > Shows & Events WestPlay GAMES DAYS are geared to beginner & novice riders of all ages, riding western or english: see pictures from the 2008 Games Days to the left. For full info, check the bulletin board in the barn or email julie@westplaypark.com The *WestPlay Equestrian Development Series* is a schooling series designed for riders with green horses or horses with green riders! Come out, have a good time & gain some miles/experience before heading off to the bigger venues: - For 2009: Open Hunter/Jumper Schooling Days offer a full ring of both hunter & jumper fences complete with the flowers, trees etc. with the height beginning at crosspoles and ending at 3'3". It's a no-pressure introduction for green horses/riders who may not have been away from home yet. Jumper Days offer divisions from 2' to 3'. - Classes/divisions are divided by jump height only, not by horse or rider qualifications. - Stabling is available on-site from Friday night, but is NOT mandatory. - By popular demand, ROCK STAR JUMPER will be back in 2009! This is a Gambler's Choice Event where you pick your favorite Rock song to ride to and can gain extra points for "artistic merit" (costume, choreography etc). - On-site camping with or without hookups is available For prize list/information contact julie@westplaypark.com We have Series Sponsors on board and are actively looking for more so that we can offer shows throughout 2009 that are both economical and easily accessible to Central Alberta riders.
